I have this problem since 1 month ago.
My springboard keeps crashing when i get a text message, ONLY IF I'M WRITTING A NEW TEXT MESSAGE ON THAT TIME (messages app is open), this problem doesn't happen when i'm doing something else, or my iphone is locked. IT HAPPENS ONLY while i'm writting a new text message.
Is used Crash Reporter to find the problem.
I't says the problem is:
Chatkit and MailDataProvider

Can anyone help me please?!!!

Uninstall all Cydia or App store apps that have anything to do with Messaging, then check.

Chatkit gets used for themes most of the time. Remove Winterboard if you have that.

androidlockxt could also be the culprit.

I don't have any app which has anything to do with messaging (i don't use androidlockxt), but i tried to uninstall some of my c. apps, still the problem remains, i removed winterboard 1 week ago, nothing happens:S
Yesterday i downloaded the Bitesms, and it works fine! I don't know WHY the apple messaging app makes this crashes:S
My cousin's iphone has the same cydia apps and it work fine! Only my iphone has this problem!
