I have seen many ways that I can view (and some can control) your iphone screen on your computer. I am using a PC Windows 7 that doesn't have internet at the moment, and as far as I know, you have to have internet to have an IP address. All of the ways I have seen to view your screen by USB, still require for you to insert an IP address which my computer doesn't have. Is there a way around this?
I don't know of any way presently to view or control the iPhone over the USB cable -- you're correct that most solutions require the iPhone to be on WiFi or 3G and require your computer to be able to connect to that IP address. Hopefully someone else may know something. You may have better luck posting in the App Store Software area if you don't get the response you're looking for here.
My iphone 4 has a 3G connection. Can I somehow turn the wifi on, on my phone, and view it on the computer via USB, that way?
The only way that would work would be if your computer was on the same WiFi network (or a network that could communicate with the WiFi network), and since you already mentioned that the machine does not have network connectivity, this would pretty much rule this out.
