So my brother in law found a iPhone 4 and he came today to my house to see if I can unlock it so he can use it.
Problem is that it has a pin lock and I'm unable to see what firmware version this phone is running...
Any advice?

umm call AT&T and have it returned would be the "right" thing to do
what OS are you running?
OS X Leopard and also winxp in another machine.
