Hi guys
So I have an iPhone 4 which 3G is not working. My best guess is that APN settings are not correct.
You can't change this from the iPhone Settings, so I tried going to Unlockit - APN Changer for your iPhone.
When I tried to install the profile, I can't because it says that I have a profile already installed (which is strange because I didn't install any profile).
So I don't know what to do. Any recommendations?

Changing things like apn settings on a non official carrier on 4.x requires a commcenter patch. Search for wortel - his patches work.
I've changed my apn settings on my iphone 4 running 4.0.1 without wortel's commcenter patch.
In my case I wanted to use the simple mobile sim card. I went to settings general network (the cellular data network button wasn't there) page. Removed my sim and then put it back in while still on that page and the button appeared. I was then able to program apn settings.
The only thing that doesn't work is receiving photos via mms. Which may also be a tmobile issue as simple mobile resells t mobile access. I also have this same issue when using the wortel patch. I've extensively tested this with every setting combination I could find out there (there are lots of different configurations).
