Is Cydia down? I keep getting this error on a 3GS 4.2.1
I'm trying to unlock it.

Can you please provide more information about the error? In most cases, a POSIX error is just that one of the repositories is down -- but without the specific text beyond POSIX error, there isn't much I can tell you. I just opened Cydia and did an update with no problems, so Cydia is not down ... What repositories do you have in your list?
