    Default Now FACTORY UNLOCKED, any reason to preserve 01.59.00 baseband???

    I'm on 5.0.1 with BB 01.59.00 - Was unlocked using Ultrasn0w...... Recently got a "factory" imei unlock... I'm wondering if there would be ANY ADVANTAGE to preserving the base band at 01.59.00 ? Or just let itunes upgrade the baseband now...? Obviously I'm using T-mobile USA so NOT an official carrier.

    how did u get the imei unlock? ATT did it for u?

    Did it thru an online service, got the confirmation email, let itunes talk to the iphone and presto - itunes said it was unlocked, and it was unlocked.

    Same concept as AT&T... but I did not deal directly with AT&T - no.
