    Default Mac OS X 10.4.11 and iPhone 4 (before and after an update of it)

    Hello,
    With my Mac mini PPC G4 OS X 10.4.11 I succeeded in downloading pictures from my daughter's iPhone 4. iPhoto started at once after connecting it via USB and the download was easily done, but after an iPhone update it is not recognized any longer (as if it were not connected).
    Is there a workaround?

    It's most likely that the phone is locked with a passcode. Unplug the phone, unlock the phone and let it sit at the homescreen, then plug it in. You cannot access the photos while the phone is locked (security feature on newer iOS revisions.)
