Default a little issue with the microsim adapter

Hi guys. Just bought my Iphone 4g. However, I am quite shocked that this microsim card can't be used in other phones... I've been told the microsim adapter can solve this issue. I've heard MicroSim Adapter 3FF mini-UICC Shop has good price and quality and is based in the UK. What do you think, is it worth buing one?

I have used both scissors and a SIM cutter. The later has the advantage of producing a "caddy" for using the SIM on an "old" phone (soon all phones will use the micro SIM).

I've also used 2 different SIM caddies: one that came with my SIM cutter and another that I got from Amazon Marketplace (claims to be of German origin). The second is very good.

But in an emergency I was able to make an adapter with a piece of thin plastic and tape. Kinda tricky, but works.

CEO of the company I worked for needed to pull a switcheroo where he upgraded an iPhone 3GS to an iPhone 4, but took that phone and switched SIMs with his current Blackberry Bold. As such, I needed the SIM cutter and adapter in order to get everything to fit back together.

I bought one of the $35 dollar cutters that someone linked to on one of the posts here, and it came with 5 of the adapters. All told it really took like 5 minutes to take care of business. Remove microSIM from iPhone, remove SIM from Blackberry, cut SIM, insert cut microSIM into iPhone 4, insert real microSIM into adapter, insert adapted microSIM into Blackberry Bold, call AT&T and have them shuffle data plans.

Quick and painless, just the way I like it.

n1ckn4m3 I agree simcutters are the best as you can re-use the original sim which has been cut out from.
