Does anyone know if the iPhone 4 factory unlocked is available from any reliable source yet? I really want one.......... but sadly I'm on T-mobile USA.

Before I end up paying through the nose with AT&T - I'd rather overpay 'some' for the phone up front and keep my super cheap t-mobile account(s).

I know I'm asking early, but does anyone know where I can get one unlocked from a good solid reliable seller or source ?

The same goes for me. I can tell you now that a unlock for 4.0 is being worked on at the moment and I will definately be looking forward to it especially because geohot confirmed it.

You can order one via Apple's UK store. It's £599 for the 32GB model. They are sold factory-unlocked. If you buy directly from Apple, you know you won't be diddled, the price is, well, fixed, and you can return the goods.

I got mine shipped (in transit now) to my uncle's in London for onward delivery to me in Singapore.

Someone I know used a Borderlinx (www.borderlinx.com) address but I'm not sure if that got shipped successfully. A Citibank credit card *may* be needed to register a Borderlinx account though I can't be sure. I've got a Borderlinx account but never used it.

Use an American Express card. That worked with the online store where my other locally-domiciled credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) didn't.

I can see that you're from the US.
Soon, a factory unlocked iPhone 4 will be available in Canada.
It shouldn't be difficult to find somebody picking one up for you.
