How to setup Shaw E-Mail with a TELUS iPhone 4


Settings

Create a new account

POP (not IMAP) type of an account

Enter name

Enter Address: this is your email address ie: user@shaw.ca

Enter Desciption: this should generate by itself, but you can rename it if you like (Shaw)


INCOMING MAIL SERVER:

- Host Name: pop.shaw.ca

- User Name: user (this is your email address ie: user@shaw.ca)

- Password: the password you use to check email from your mail account with shaw.ca


OUTGOING MAIL:

Host Name: smtp.telus.net

User Name: leave blank

Password: leave blank


This worked 100% on my Brand New iPhone 4

you might have to try a few times....i tried 4 times

When the SSL error comes up do you want to try withOUT the SSL say YES...
