How to remove "Call Forwarding Active" pop-up message
Hello everyone,
I'm really happy with my newly unlocked iPhone 4 but one thing is bugging the "§%&§ out of me: whenever I call someone I get the "call forwarding active" pop-up. This is an old problem since the first iPhone generation but the previous solutions all didn't work for me:
1) Any keycodes like ##002# did do nothing
2) Any cydia fixes like "ForwardMSGFix" or "CallForwarding" from iFon1 did only work once but the pop up appears again after some time
3) The only fix that worked is modifying the carrier.plist file found in /System/Library/Carrier Bundles/Unknown.bundle/ through SSH. Then, however, this somehow messes up my settings and when I try to open network preferences it takes longer than usual and doesn't show data network settings anymore.
Anybody knows a working fix for iPhone 4 here? That would really be appreciated.

So instead of posting a new thread I decided to bump this (hope u all don't mind) last night I got this to work on 4.2.1 without issue.
U need to get wortel commcenter patch for 4.2.1 and then remove dependencies from the original messagefwdfix 4.0 and it will work. I'll upload it later for you guys.

No problem. Glad i can give back.
This is the first time I'm doing a deb re-compilation. Thanks goes out to the maker of the package. All i did was remove dependencies from the control file so that we can use it alongside wortel's patch.
With all that stated, is it ok to post a link like this:
MessageFwdFix Modded deb
It works for me. Only thing is that after using wortel, you may need to re-enter data network settings.
