Iphone 4 - Help needed
Hi there,
I have brought from a friend what seems to be a "found" iPhone 4.
I have brought an activation sim for it and that worked a treat.
I now effectively have a glorified iPod Touch.
Does anyone know if I can further unlock the phone to be able to put a SIM in and it work normally?
I have read briefly about IMEI blocking? If mine is blocked is there a way of unblocking??

Sounds quite legally dubious (found iPhone4) - ultrasn0w might unlock it but you are legally obliged to try and identify the original owner and return it. Otherwise you are a receiver of stolen goods - which is generally a punishable offence.

Olethros provided the correct and legit answer -- your responsibility is to contact the owner, the carrier, or local law enforcement to report your acquisition of the lost device.
Anything past that most likely violates one of several laws and as such cannot be discussed here.
No place this thread can go other than downhill, I'm closing.
