It is impossible for the iPhone to be recognized as a white iPhone in iTunes as the colour is defined in your serial number.

Yes, I just convert my black iphone 4 to the black with the conversion kits bought from http://www.slickgate.com/iphone-4g-conversion-kits-lcd-assembly-repair-parts-white_p2344.html", sorry to tell it can't be recognized as a white iphone 4 in iTunes.
