I just replaced my LCD on my iPhone after i dropped it every think works fine but when i go to leave the lock screen using the slider or the camera the screen will just fade out and the only way i can get it back on is to lock the phone, the only screen that works is the lock screen any ideas?

Is the other part of the screen just unresponsive or is it as well not working right once you entered springboard?

From what i can see the phone works the digitizer works at some point i got it to show it was really dim and it was fading in and out then just went black again like normal, But i cant understand why the lockscreen works like normal its just went unlocking it the screen fails, I also know its related to the main board of the phone i tested another board out of my other iphone and it worked fine?

Maybe some of the parts are not compatible in this combinations. Durning the production of iPhone, many different parts are used, you might have found a strange none working combination. Other than that did you try a full DFU restore?

Yes i have restored using DFU no change so you think the screen mite not be compatible with the iphones logic board? why would the lock screen not have any problem then ? could there be a problem with the logic board?

I replaced the light sensor and the phone works like normal now funny thing is the sensor works fine on my other logic board.
