i cannot proceed in any of your instructions because in the first place the phone seeks for activation which brings me to the Language Selection

-->language selection
--> Select Country/Region
--> WiFi Network Selection
--> Then it says "it may take up to three minutes to activate your iPhone"
--> then here goes the "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable"

and when trying to activate the phone via iTunes i still get this message

"There is no sim card installed on the iPhone you are attempting to activate."

(already tried the process a hundred times, but nothing happens. also tried changing the sim card but still nothing)

Now i do believe that jailbreaking this phone will fix the problem. but the problem is how?
i cannot even find out what firmware i have on the phone right now. so i cannot proceed with the first step.

There are 2 ways to activate your phone, this is thru the phone itself while connected to the net or thru the itunes in your personal computer or Macintosh. it you are un able to activate your phone one way you could try the next method to activate it. In your case thru the itunes. Just make sure the you are connected to the net. You could also try other Wifi network if you fail to activate your phone for the first time. If this does not help try another computer or laptop. I this can help you to activate your phone. thanks and have a great day.
