USBMuxListenerCreate: No such file or directory - ziphone doesn't support > iPhone2G
I have tried so, so many types of jailbreaking options. I have the SIM card, and I am about ready to give up. When I use ZiPhone, I get the following text: Checking ZiPhone integrity...

USBMuxListenerCreate: No such file or directory
What do I do? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, help!
I have 4.0.2 on a 3GS.
No one knows, or no one wants to help?
Do a bit of research, then you will understand why no one wants to help.

To be specific, ziphone only works with iOS 1.x and the the first iPhone model (referred to as the iPhone 2G). Even then ziphone was known to cause problems and should only be used as a last resort.
You have posted your question under iPhone 4, but you have a 3GS - so I have moved the thread to the right place.
The all important question is: do you have a cached SHSH for 4.0.2 or lower? If you don't have that then you have zero change of jailbreaking until after iOS 4.1 is released sometime in September.
Closing this thread, if you have a SHSH cached for 4.0 or 4.0.1 - use jailbreakme. If you have a SHSH cached for iOS 3.1.3 use Spirit. If you have a SHSH cached for any other 3.x iOS version use redsn0w
Please read the stickies & search forum before posting! How to report an iTunes restore/update fail in a useful manner
iPad 3G 64GB (4.3.3, Redsn0w) oldest SHSH 3.2.2
iPhone 4 32GB (4.2.1, Redsn0w JB-monte) oldest SHSH 4.1
iPhone 3GS 32GB (4.3.3; Pwnagetool) factory unlocked oldest SHSH 3.1
