I have an iphone 3gs currently running jailbroken 4.1 and ultrans0w with baseband 06.15.00 - however I have many issues with the iphone the main 1 is that I cant get any service & wifi is intermittent on/off. After trying deactivating/re-activating with original sim, hacktivating, reinstalling ultrasn0w - none which worked. I planned to reinstall 4.1 from sn0wbreeze but thought i'd try and update to 4.2.1 cfw first, but when I try to restore the custom firmware I get the error code 3194. I have tried re-jailbreaking with redsn0w to 4.1 but it wont wipe+reinstall because all my data is left on, this is why im trying to reinstall from sn0wbreeze. I know I cant update to apple 4.2.1 because of the baseband mis-match but I was under the impression that it would take custom 4.2.1.

Does anyone know why i'm getting this error?

Also I know it may possibly be hardware fault but figured trying to reinstall first was best bet.

3194 is no SHSH blob available. You need to have planned in advance and backed up your SHSH blobs before Apple stops signing them.

iFaith might help you save a partial 4.1 SHSH blob from your phone (assuming you haven't destroyed the existing on-phone blobs in your attempts to restore)

Restoring to 4.2.1 or 4.3.3 is impossible unless you saved the required SHSH blob via TinyUmbrellla many months ago.
