Unlock to Brazil

Hi people!

I do not know if here is the correct place to post it... If it is not I am sorry about it!

I am from Brazil and I've bought one 3GS (a friend of mine bought it in Miami).

Is there a way to unlock it to use it?

They is a way but no yet release. Read other post. just sit back and relax and remember don't update it. Or no yet

How did your friend buy it without a contract?
And how much did you pay?

According to iClarified - The iPhone 3GS CAN be jailbroken; however, the jailbreak has not been released yet. One of the blogs says that the current 3GS jailbreak does more damamge to the iPhoen than doing good.

You will have to wait untill a stable jailbreak / unlock is released
