The file is called MobileDevice and is located at /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileDevice.framework/Versions/A/MobileDevice

bspatch is built into OS X

syntax is pretty much the same
    Code:
    bspatch MobileDevice MobileDevice.new MobileDevice_mac.patch
This completely fucking worked. I know it's not your patch, and you are providing just the knowledge, but you made my fucking week. I'm taking this back to the apple store, and getting a new one. If you have a paypal account, i'll like to send you enough so you can have a on me.

Super Duper Motherfucking props to you.

Trust me... you would be surprised how much beer costs where I live... One of my few regrets about moving from Australia to Norway is how expensive and crap the beer is over here.

CPICH is the one you should thank, not me.

Have already asked CPICH, it just allows the restore to continue past the error 23. Error 23 suggests a radio/baseband problem that can't be fixed with software (except maybe on 2G iPhones)

The idea then, is to restore with a stock IPSW and take the iPhone back to Apple for replacement.

    Default Help please!

i have been trying to follow the steps you provided but i'm getting stuck. i clicked the link provided downloaded the file and extracted to contents. there is only a bsdiff and bspatch aplications in it. there is no iTunesMobileDevice.dll_902._win.patch and i was hoping someone could give me some step by step instructions for a dummy.
