TinyUmbrella reporting dif shsh file?

Sorry about the previous post n1ckname, but I wasn't intend on to pirate anything or want to help promote or what not. But to get on to a dif topic....

I used TinyUmbrella to try to restore to 3.1.2 which cydia said I have the shsh of it on file, but tinyumbrella pulled 3.1.3 shsh file from cydia instead.... I can't use 3.1.3 because I will lose the unlock. If I use snowbreeze to keep the baseband, will I be able to retain unlock or it will not work? Also how do I get the 3.1.2 shsh file from cydia on saurik's server instead of the 3.1.3?

Did you try advanced mode in tiny umbrella?

there's an advanced mode? what do I do wit that Olethros? I want to be able to restore just to 3.1.2.. cydia said it has 3.1.1-3.1.3 cached when i open up cydia....

There is a checkbox - advanced options. If you tick that on - then you get the ability to pick the device/version. You need to select iPhone 3GS 3.1.2 - whilst making sure that the location is set to Cydia (default). Then click "save my SHSH"

Once that is done sucessfully, you should be able to use the TSS server to restore 3.1.2

I got my iphone to finally restore back to 3.1.2 with success also with the exception that cydia kept givign me errors on the modmyi host

Also pkgbackup won't recognize my stuff from cydia and back it up either had to do a manual install on most of the stuff ^_^

I found out I had to enter in a ECID for the tinyumbrella to find the 3.1.2..... it won't find it without it

Doesn't it autodetect the ECID now?
