Ok can someone please clarify what i think alot of people need answering if like me a bit of a noob when it comes to iphone, i am a 3GS owner and about 2 months ago accidently updated from itunes to there new 3.1.3, my question is ,is there a jailbreak/unlock for 3gs that has been updated to 3.1.3 and also am i right in thinking 5.12 bootloader hack is whats preventing this,as of 12 of april i heard there maybe a jailbreak for 3.1.3 global hack or something can someone just clarify if a 3gs can be done and if not whgat is preventing it at this time thanky you. also how do i tell what bootrom i have is there a program that can show me thanks again.

Question has been asked answered a number of times. No unlock till June/July. Maybe a jailbreak sooner but the jailbreak situation is still very unclear.

Get your SHSH backed up for 3.1.3 in preparation for new jailbreak. Aside from waiting that is all you can do

Keep checking the forum, when an unlock or jailbreak arrives it will be obvious. No need to ask the same question others have already asked many times.

You posted in the wrong subforum and are confusing your terms 05.12.01 is baseband version not bootloader or bootrom.
