ATT_US_STEALTH.ipcc
I tried with the 5.5 version and it wouldn't send but after I installed this version it would send and receive and Tethering is enabled.
iPhone 3GS 32GB - JB 3.0.1 with redsn0w 0.8 no unlock
that is the file i used, it didnt work, i've tried probably every single ATT_US.ipcc file out there and none of them have yielded any different results. on top of that my iphone is running 3.0 but the xcode log keeps complaining that the ipcc files fail verification, but afaik they didnt start signing the ipcc's till 3.0.1 or 3.1, so it's strange. i've had to install the bundles into /var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles on my own to try new ones.

Hate to have seemlingly fed the troll here, but the website that's the same as your username is a parked domain that says under construction. No MMS installation instructions or any iPhone information to be found....
EDIT: Ah, it shows up if I add www to the front of it. Fair enough.

I don't know if it was caused by this or someting else but I followed the instructions on the site that was listed here iphonepixelpost.xxx and added the source into cydia but now my cydia database is corrupt and I can't see any sources at startup and I can't see any installed apps. Has anyone else tried this approach with the same result? Does anyone know of a way to reset cydia's database?

I've used the instructions previously to install SuperemePreferences, and can verify that the method he mentions will work -- it's not necessarily EASIER than forcing iTunes to accept the .ipcc, but it's definitely easier if you don't have a computer at your disposal
.
With that in mind, I do not believe following the instructions should have caused any problems. Personally I don't know how to manually delete and re-create the Cydia database, unfortunately -- though I'm sure someone here will get back quickly with a good way to do just that.

so turns out just about anyone who owned a 2G iPhone originally is setup improperly somewhere deep in AT&T's system, i guess there are multiple systems that keep track of a customers history, maybe one is deprecated i dont know, but one part of the system listed my as still having the 2G while the other part listed the 3G (as i've heard from many other people) so if you still don't have it working be sure to call them, email didnt do it for me. however sending an return email to their initial got me a phone call back VERY quickly and it was resolved within about 10 mins and very little wait time. this is the first time im impressed with their customer service.

if you have mobile terminal, you can run it and:
- su root (password = alpine)
- cd /var/lib/apt/list
- rm *
- cd partial
- rm *
Now you can quit terminal an run cydia again.
If you not familiar with command line in terminal, you can use ifunbox (google for it) and remove stuff in directories indicated above
If you really don't know what you are doing, you can try this utility (I cannot vouch for it because I never try it). Download here ClearCydiaListCache.rar
- connect phone to pc and run the executable.

@dtube
May I suggest making this thread a sticky? It's getting buried on page 2 now and there are a lot of people who still need this info handy.
Thanks.
