AT&T asking full price after 30 days before 6 months
I wanted to cancel AT&T service on my iphone today (31st day after activation), and the rep told me that they have to charge full price of the phone ($499) because it has not been 6 months since activation.
I thought if you cancel before 30 days and you do not return the phone for any reason they can do that, but after 30 days they just ask you the ETF.
Is this true, or was he just fishing?

He was probably fishing, if you arent going have anything to do with att just ignore their mail for your money and get to it whenever you feel like
Get the latest info for NoAccSplash
Here
Currently it should work on iOS 4.x - 6.x

If you'd like to help extend its functionality, the source is also available.

truehybridx, thank you for your reply, although I am having a problem what excatly you mean.
Eventually, I wanna keep the phone and try to unlock it. But wanna make sure that, AT&T will not blacklist my phone or anything...
Isn't there anybody else who had been in a similar situation???

If you cancel within 30 days, AT&T requires that you send the iPhone back. After 30 days you get to keep the iPhone but you have to pay termination fees and a fee for the first months usage.
This 499 thing is new and probably not legit.
