Spirit jailbreak issue
Hi,
I jailbreaked my iPhone using the recently released Spirit Jailbreak by Comex. However I noticed an issue which is it deleted all of my photos on my camera roll. I know comex fixed this issue with a follow-up release. But is there a way now to restore my deleted photos off of my camera roll? If its of any help, I did take a back-up on my iTunes before I applied this jailbreak. Your response is much appreciated.

If you took a backup of the iPhone (and have not synced again since you jailbroke) then you have a chance.
iTunes by default overwrites the backup each time you sync.

See iPhone and iPod touch: About backups
Look under:
- Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
- Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
- Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
There should be folder(s) under here. If there is only one folder, check the date/time that the folder was modified.

Hi,
I am windows 7 user and I do see a folder under the path you have mentioned below. The last modified date seems to be pointing to yesterday possibly when I tried to resync the phone to see if that restores my camera roll.
But when i get into the folder I do see a lot of earlier .mddata and .mdinfo files which are prior to my jailbreak. I am hoping one of them could possibly restore my camera roll.
Is there a way to restore from one of the earlier version of my these files?
Your response is much appreciated.

You have probably lost the files..
However the mddata files are simply real files with a different extension. Some of these could be your jpegs. Use an image browser that does not care about file extension and see if any of the mddata files are recognised as images.
