Aside from the obvious hardware issue has anyone had issues with the 3gs having intermittent sound? I refurbished a 3gs from 85% of the phones original parts, having only replaced the battery, digitizer and headphone/power button/ volume switch assembly. I restored and updated the Ipsw using itunes and sound worked for a little while but then cut out and hasn't been functioning properly. I have restored the iphone a second time to see if it was a firmware issue to no avail. Could this be a software issue? * Note the microphone and ear speaker and speaker phone are all not working. when i plug the headphones in it does recognize them but nothing comes out.

I have googled this issue and searched the hackintosh forums and have been unable to find a solution to my problem. Even a link to SOMETHING would be really appreciated : )

Update: Got this link to redmond pie, tried all the options and still nothing. When i reset to factory settings it did work for about a minute but when i opened an app with sound it cut out about halfway through...
