**SOS** No carrier signal detected iPhone 3GS - 2 weeks and running !!!
I have been having issues since the last ten days when I tried to untether my jailbreak on my iPhone3GS [06.15.00] running iOS 5.0.1 using RedSn0w [0.9.10b5c]. I tried starting a thread and kept updating with my attempts to fix it, however there was no response.
I am requesting for help by starting a new thread hoping this might attract someone's attention!
I tried restoring my iOS 5.0.1 and re-jailbreaking and then reinstalling Ultrasn0w. But to no avail. I even attempted a solution provided in the web to replace CommCenterClassic file with new permissions via iFile - that didn't work either.
I attempted to reinstall my baseband - that has always ended up in error during what it appears to be "mounting rootfs".
I tried several times with my SIM card in the slot and without it during the process to see if it makes a difference.
I also tried disabling location services, Data and 3G during the JB, utlrasn0w(1.2.5) installation process. Nothing seems to make a difference.
Can someone please let me know how to fix this issue?
I posted an answer to the other forum request, please read that and continue discussion there.
