Default Problem Receiving Calls After Jailbreak

    Hi guys,

After jailbreaking my 3GS incoming calls all of a sudden start going straight to answerphone.

The signal is pretty much full at this time too and if I make an outgoing call then try and ring my phone it seems to go through, but then this soon stops.

I'm using an O2 PAYG sim and Jailbroke with RedSn0w 0.8

    Anyone have any advice?

I have tried the Airplane mode toggle and Reset Network Settings but nothing seems to fix it.

    Thanks

Did you manage to fix it? I have exactly the same problem, though, using a 3G.
My phone is on standby during night, so every morning I wonīt receive any calls. As soon as I call my voicemail everything works. I usually get a SMS from my carrier (you got xxxx missed calls). I wonīt even receive SMSīs before....

Very weird problem, some help would be appreciated.

Is your phone factory unlocked? Are you using ultrasn0w?

Neither, itīs locked from an official carrier using that sim. It was unlocked a few weeks ago using the dev team unlock released shortly after 3.0 came out. I uninstalled it once I did not use it anymore (was on vacation so I needed the unlock for another sim).
Currently the phone is only jailbroken (dev team JB) with a few apps on. Pretty annoying, have to call my voicemail every morning to make sure my reception is back.

Did you upgrade to 3.0 OS or did you restore to 3.0?

Argh. That could be the source of your problem.
QuickPwn was not developed by the Dev's to 3.0. Some other dudes claim to update that...

Restore again to 3.0 and then run redsn0w. Also, when activating, in iTunes choose "treat this phone as new" when asked. Don't update from a previous backup.

    keep us posted.

hmm, wonder if that really is the reason, on the other hand, I had some problems before when restoring from a backup....could be.
Thanks for the hint, I guess I will have to try that....
