    Default Problem with Cydia

    Hey guys,
I hope this is the right forum for this. I've got a problem with my iPhone 3GS. I have Cydia installed, but when I start it, it crashes while "Loading Data". I found a solution for it. You have to delete some files in the /var/ folder. The problem is, that I don't have OpenSSH installed. That means, that I can't see the /var/ and other important folders.

Is the only way to fix Cydia, to reinstall the firmware? =l

How did you jailbreak? If you used blackra1n, spirit or limera1n - then yes you have to reinstall firmware.

Most other jailbreaks allow you to edit the entire iOS filesystem via AFC. Programs like i-FunBox | File Manager, Browser, Explorer, Transfer Tool for iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch via USB and iphonebrowser - Project Hosting on Google Code can be used to edit the files that you would otherwise edit with SSH.
