Stuck in recovery mode with OFW but works on JB

Hi,

I have a problem with a 3GS, If I jailbreak it with redsn0w the fone will reboot fine and is usuable but everytime I try to install apple OFW it reboots with error 1015 and wont get out of the mode with any tool. I have tried restoring os version 4.1 - 4.2.1 & 4.35 but all do the same, I have tried the install & upgrade that iTunes offers but still does the same, I have tried using tiny umbrella then restoring but still the same and I dont know what to do next. Like I said it works with a redsn0w jailbreak but wont go back onto OFW.

Please can anyone help?
