Thanks for helping

If you are emailing them, your email service is whats "capping" you. Change to another email service that allows attaching larger files.
Thanks Toaster for the reply, I am using Gmail for email, that only allows a 20mb attachment I think, do you know of any free email providers that don't have such a low threshold?
Thanks in advance
20MB is quite large as an email limit
Also.. the way attachments are sent means that the real max file size is about 77% of the limit the email providers quote.
I hate to tell you this, but you have the wrong approach - most users try and email video and pictures - this feels like the natural/proper way to do this. However you run into attachment limits on the sender's size. Also many recievers have a limit on their mailbox (and sometimes also on the maximum size of recieved mails)
Also - it is very inefficent on bandwith, as every mail server needs to recieve a copy of the mail even if the recipent never looks at that mail.
A much better strategy is to post it to a site that hosts video and link to that site in the emails you send.
Thanks for the reply, the only problem I'm gonna have is I will be stuck in Spain with just my iPhone and wanted to email a few videos from my iPhone to a friend with an iPhone, I know I could use you tube etc, it just would have been nice to email a video longer than like 1.5 mins long,
I just tried to email a video of just 1min 45 seconds long and I got a pop up saying to trim video because it was too long, I'd post a screenie but not sure if tapatalk supports uploads with this forum
Instead of using the "share" button tap and hold on the video until copy appears and then you can "paste" that into mail.app on the iPhone.
This sends the video in original quality - using the share button recompresses it (reducing the quality)
There is a limit of 15MB for this - that works out to about 35-40 seconds of video clip.
Maybe that limit could be hacked - i guess that is what you are asking - not heard of anything yet.
Yeah that's exactly what I meant, your wording is a lot better than mine, it would be nice if someone could take a look at making the limit larger
