I just have a black screen now.
I patched the CommCenter file to enable tethering. I rebooted my phone (it was fine after the patch). And now I have no reaction from the phone what so ever....
what the hell happened? If i take it to apple will they know i messed with it?
Put it in recovery and restore. If that does not work, try DFU mode.Quote:

I've. Sen jailbreaking for about a year so I definetally tried those things. I think I bricked it.
I went to apple store. Definetally bricked. So I guess be very aware of patching commcenter. I followed the instructions precisely so either it was a fake or bad patch or my phone had a stroke.
Good thing came out of it because I simply asked for a phone from my provider so I don't have to unlock it now.
I'll just wait until blackra1n comes out with a post week 40 bandaid.
