Messages icon has disappeared !!!???

3gs unlocked and jailbreak with blackra1n. firmware 3.1.2

I and was moving around my icons using categories. Also i installed winterboard and playing around with the wallpaper. next day i realise that the messages icon has disappeared.

I looked to see if it was hidden in categories but didn't see it. It's not in a new page. I tried reseting the home screen.

How can i get it back ?
I can receive sms and can use the vol up or down and then tap for a quick message or go to call and select someone from my contacts and then message.

I installed bitesms as a replacement but i would still like to know how the get the icon back.

I can't restore since i only bought my iphone about a week ago and can only create a shsh file on Cydia for 3.1.3.

what can i do?

I can do a search for 'messages' and it shows up. I can access it from there. Now how do I get it back on my springboard ?

I figured it out. Installed poof and I was able to unhide an icon called text. It showed up on the spring board as messages.
