iPhone iOS 4.0 - Stuck in Recovery, will not Restore - Error 40
Well! Long story short my iPhone ran out of juice yesterday.
It was running a fairly intense compression on an audio recording of a 400mb file and cut out half way, don't know if this was something important.
I went to charge it and it froze on bootup so I did a hard reset.
iPhone comes back telling me to connect it to iTunes. [recovery mode]
iPhone wants me to restore it, grand I tell it to restore. It unpacks ipsw, resets iPhone to prepare it to receive ipsw and then stalls on the progress bar at 0%
After a long delay it aborts back to iTunes with an error 28
