iPhone 3Gs stuck in apple logo after network reset

Hi my iPhone 3Gs fw 3.1.2, is now on loop boot situation. it got stuck after network reset. this was my 3rd time to reset my network settings due to lost of wifi, and got stuck on apple logo. In the first 2 attempts, i successfully boot up my phone using iRecovery tool. The second time was a bit tough though. This 3rd attempt seems the tool is not working. i already tried all the tips/tricks solutions on the net and still didn't work. There is one last solution, i don't want to do, that is to restore(fresh restore) my iPhone's firmware. i have a lot of data inside, which i don't have backup.

So, may i ask if anyone of you has another solution to this? or anyone of your who knows how to backup/image my iPhone via restore mode? or any hacks i can do to make my iPhone boot again in normal mode?

I had the similar problem last week when i tried resetting my network settings since wifi on my 3GS was not functioning. I tried a lot of methods to get my phone into its original state but of no luck. Then i first let the battery on the phone die and then left it for one night. Next morning i kept the phone on charging and then did nothing, the phone came back to life in about 2-3 hours. However, the wifi was not working and then i re-jailbreaked it and then my phone is working fine. Do let me know in case anyone is having problems on this
