Iphone 3GS giving error 1002 on restore

Hi all.

Yesterday my iPhone went out on me and as i restarted it i was greeted by the emergency call screen and couldn't login.

I have tried to restore it in itunes, to the latest firmware, but i end up with the error 1002. I have uploaded the log here: 2011-02-14 23:32:16.000 iTunes[11177:207]: restore - Iphone restore - Error 1002

Is there any other ways i should try to get it up and running?

Your baseband is corrupted, this is a hardware problem and no software fix exists. I hope it is under warranty.
