HELP! Iphone 3GS stuck in recovery mode

My mom just bought me this iphone without saying it was already jailbroken (I slightly remembered there was a cydia app) ..and I found myself downloading an iphone update from itunes.. then when it was in the process of updating my iphone it errored and i couldn't turn on my iphone anymore it is always in recovery mode.. I tried everything from downloading custom firmwares to red snow tinyumbrella and SHSH blobs which I didnt get because my iphone is in recovery mode.. The error message is always 1015

Specific details about my iphone is its 3GS ..other than that I dont know

Custom IPSW (from Pwnagetool 4.3 or Sn0wbreeze 2.5.1) should fix your problem.
