i have got a new iphone its a 3gs on 3.1.3 i have tryed to jailbreak it with no success the serial num is _SRNM:[XX010XXXXXX] so if there is a dummies guide to jailbreaking plz will someone give it to me i have not got a clue i have had to restore my phone about a dozen times now lol so if u can help tht would be gr8 cheers kenny1690

You have zero chance of jailbreaking right now. All you can do is get your ECID and take a backup of your SHSH for 3.1.3 - there are a few ways to do this.Quote:

A jailbreak for 3.1.3 will definitely come - either after the 3G iPad is released (end of this month) or when the next gen iPhone is released (probably in late June)
Don't update past 3.1.3 you risk losing the chance to jailbreak when the jailbreak is finally released.
