The bird is unleashed!!!!

Anyone ever heard of this so new claim that it's going to ha1l this sunday? Well I been reading up on geohot and the iphone twitter community and apparently appuloha1l has claimed that he has founded a exploit to BOTH jailbreak and unlock of the 3.1 3GS with the latest 5.11.07 baseband from an OTB iphone or an updated iphone.

I haven't seen or heard of geohot commenting on any of this as he never said anything about the unlock but he has successfully jailbreak 3.1 as well as 3.1.2

I agree. Though they claim they're providing a proof of concept video, I hate to be a "negative nancy", buuuuuuuuut:

(p.s., I'd like nothing more than to eat these words! Still sitting on 3.0.1....)

EDIT: Though frankly, I get more of a "this could be real" feeling from this than I do from sn0wbreeze.... I hope I'm wrong on both and that they both get released and both allow OTB 3.1 Jailbreak and Unlock.

Pics are up on their website but it shows nothing and looks photoshopped unlike geohot's terminal pic.... sn0wbreeze is just a port of pwnage tool for windows user which is nothing but a mirror version of quickpwn!

geohot has successfully jailbroken all 3.1 as well as 3.1.2 but he's being a perfectionist to finding out why you have to unplug the usb after jailbreaking :P hehehe the man is indeed careful in his work :P

looks like people were right about ferrocious being fake as the pic they put up was analyzed as being done with photoshop CS4!

anyone seen a video or proof that this works !!!!

just saw there website and the claim it can unlock the 5.11.07 BB ????? anyone tried this or even seen a video confirming this~!!!! Dev-Team is the way to go but how could they not find this loop hole first or even develop anything like this???? maybe im just a noob on all the new teams out there maybe we needed more than the Dev Team two is always better than one !!!!!!
