best T-Mobile data plan for iPhone 2.5G

I was very happy with the T-Mobile Web ($5.99/month) solution via the APN epc.tmobile.com, but since I had my service restored after a one-month suspension (I was out of the country), I'm seeing GPRS, not EDGE speeds.

I imagine that throttling has begun, even if not all T-MobileWeb users are seeing this problem.

The cost of Total Internet is now $24.99 -- I'd be better off paying $30 for 3G with a new iPhone and ATT.

What about some of the other, less expensive options?

Has anyone tried "Unlimited Web for phones $9.99/month*" -- does it have ports blocked?

Or what about the $19.95 "Unlimited Web + Unlimited Messages" plan? Is that the same as Total Internet for $24.99?

i have the unlimited net for 20 bucks a month and i use the internet2.voicestream.com apn speeds are pretty good for edge and there are no restrictions.
