bingo!! User agent faker dammit! There's an update on cydia, and now suddenly it's all fixed... 2 days nightmare that was nasty :)
Wow, glad you ended up getting it figured out, there was no way I would have guessed it was caused by UAFaker. :) Thanks for posting to let us know what the ultimate issue was! Hopefully if someone else has this issue they'll find this thread and be able to get it solved.
