Hi, Am new to the iphone I bought it from a lady in are town and when I had a "play" with it I saw this no wifi option (greyed out) from what ive read about on the net it seems a common problem with very little fixes.

Is it truly broken? I can't unlock it without the wifi (plus wifi is handy to have)

I install iphone configuration Utility but having a hard time working the bugger out....

Is it still the same after a DFU restore? If yet your wifi board might be broken. If you have the utility installed, can you try checking the syslog for error messages?
