Liquid Ingress repair POOL SHIT
I had to share this with you, My iphone 3GS 32 GB which I bought 4 months ago suddenly stopped working when I connected it to the charger. I took it to Carphone warehouse for under warrenty fix. They kept the phone for 3 weeks and I went to pick it up today. Guess what they had to say, the phone been sent back because it had Liquid Ingress! and that voids the warranty. If I want it fixed I have to pay £150!!!!!!!!!
I swear I didn't drop it in water or used it in the shower as I was aware of the moist and liquid problem with the iphone. But the lady didn't believe me and I felt as if she thought I was a lier despite that I bought 3 iphones off their shop.
Cut the story short, when I checked the moist sensor it was white and not red! so I thought if the iphone warranty is voided now why not dissect it and see what is inside, and to check where are the other moist sensors. So I did open it and guess what there was no indication what so ever that the phone was opened or checked at all. So I gave it a good clean and checked all clips and connection.
When I put the iphone back together, GUESS WHAT HAPPEN? It came a live, YES IT IS WORKING NOW!!!! I don't have an engineering degree, but managed to put it back to life with no cost.
What an AR***** engineer not bothered to do his job! I am so disappointed with APPLE having made this excuse of moist sensor bla bla so that their lazy engeneerer could not be bothered to do their job proberly.
WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK I SHOULD DO NOW????

Great that its working but I'd be pissed if they took my warranty away for no reason.
So if you're 100% sure its never had any water damage & the moist sensor looks ok, stand your ground go back and insist they take a closer look
If they are wrong hopefully they should reinstate your warranty 4u.
