Jailbreak/Unlock iPhone 3GS iBoot-359.3.2

Hello everyone, I am not sure if this is the right place to post this topic, moderators kindly move this thread if necessary.

Ok, can anyone please tell me how or what's the best way to Jailbreak/Unlock my iPhone 3gs, it has iBOOT-359.3.2, I am not sure about the firmware and baseband though. It is stuck on "Emergency Call" Mode. Should I use RedSnow, Ultrasnow, Spirit, etc. I already used BlackRa1n on it but it keeps on freezing when in Rebooting process of BlackRa1n. Thank you guys.

What version of the firmware are you running? That's an important piece of info we don't have.

I also have the same question. I'm on 3.1.3 with old boot.

you could try installing an old itunes what spiritjb tells u that works with the spirit jailbreak . and see if that gets you passed the emr call screen . u just need to hope that your not on 4.0 iso

If you're on a new bootrom 3GS, your options are redsn0w/blackra1n for 3.1.2 or Spirit for 3.1.3. You cannot go to 4.0 yet. Once you have jailbroken, you can use ultrasn0w to unlock.

Note that 3.1.3 + Spirit require an AT&T SIM to activate.

Note that 3.1.2 + 3.1.3 will require you to have the SHSH on file in order to downgrade them. If you are currently on that firmware and do NOT have the SHSH file, you can attempt, but it's not recommended as if you fail, you will have to upgrade to 4.0 and re-lock/re-jail your device in order to make it work again.

Read saurik's post on "Caching Apple's Signature" to find out about what an SHSH is. Google will help you find. Don't have link handy.
