Jailbreak newer iPhone (new iBoot)
Hello, i just got my 3GS and i want to jailbreake it (no unlock for me thanks ) but i found several threads and blog-post's talking about that the new versions of the iBoot system won't let this to go through. Is there a chart or table indicating which iBoot versions are compatible with jailbreak.
PS. BlackRa1n did'nt work, completed installation, reboot to recovery mode, used blackRa1n again to boot, but no BlackRa1n icon in the springboard T_T
There are only two versions of iBoot. You either have a full or tethered jailbreak.

Restore your 3GS to 3.1.2 and then try to jailbreak again. If that does not work try another computer.
Please read the stickies & search forum before posting! How to report an iTunes restore/update fail in a useful manner

Hello again thanks for the response, I have a Iphone 3GS bought Nov 20 2009
Ver: 3.1.2 (7D11)
Further reading teach me that my iphone only support tethered jailbreak at the moment and dev-team is working in a full jailbreak solution ... am i right?.
Dev team looks to work pretty fast so maybe is ok to wait... but i'm just thinking out loud hehe.
