Hi GUYS,

can anyone help me, i backed up my phone with itunes and did a fresh restore and i click on the option "new phone setting". now i cant seem to find my original back. i had all my phone numbers and now i dono what to do? OMG please some help me recover the old back up file

This is normal. When you set the phone up as new, the first sync overwrites the previous backup (unless you copied the backup to another name or location in advance)

You could try a deleted file recovery utility, I would say your chances are okay with this (depending on what other tasks you have done with the machine since)

This is why you should actually configure iTunes to sync the contacts to the Address Book program.

oh darn... so i cant get it back? can please give me some instruction i looked all over the site i cant find any way to recover the backup... thats so stupid for apple to do that... why would u call it a back if it delete the other backup... dumb programing
