    Default Iphone different colored lines on apple logo. HELP!!

    My iphone 3Gs wont turn on, and when it does its stuck on apple logo with bluish-purple moving lines. it has not been jail broken or anything of that sort. Can anyone help me PLEASE!!!!

    its running 4.2

    Try a DFU mode restore http://www.hackint0sh.org/f137/54082.htm

    Be aware that with a 3GS, you need a saved SHSH to restore the same iOS version you are currently running if you aren't on the absolute latest iOS version (4.2.1 as of today)

    Sounds like a hardware problem though.
