I bartered for an iPhone 3Gs (16Gb) which I knew to have a shattered touch screen. I purchased a replacement screen display assembly (LCD and digitizer). After replacing the screen, for a while, I would only get the apple logo to come up. Now I get only a white screen. iTunes recognizes the phone, I have done a restore on it about 10 times now trying to get it to come up.
I tried plugging in ONLY the old LCD, no digitizer and no sensors, and this shows the "configure" screen... but without the touch panel, it's useless.
Right now, I have it plugged in to the USB. iTunes is recognizing it - it is fully restored and, to borrow a fellow member's term, "revirginized". Battery is almost 50% and still, nothing more than white screen... any ideas?
