First off, Iphone details:

-Iphone 3GS 16gb
-Firmware 3.1.2
-Modem Firmware 05.11.07

*** I'll place issues by NUMBERs# so you can answer to specific issues if not all *** AND PLEASE BE AWARE THAT I'M A NEWB IN IPHONE FOR THE MOMENT , JUST GOT MY 3GS TODAY! *****


Ok so I've jailbroken the iphone using Blackra1n, then unlocked with the help of: YouTube - How to Unlock 05.11.07 3.1.2 iPhone 3G and 3Gs FULL TUTORIAL!. And it worked! Iphone was unlocked, just had to disable 3G to get it to connect to the carrier, everythings fine. Now my BIG Issue, or issues is:

#1------whenever i get into cydia, it gives me choice to upgrade 3 diff apps, cydia installer which i guess is a newer version, alnog with 2 apt something apps, and keep getting 'size mismatch' error whenever I try to add a source or just download anything! ( Wanted to get some apps in my iphone but itunes didnt let me, so i heard of an app calls app sync or something, when triyng to download it , i get that error)


#2-------Now when thinking ive found a fix for that, when going into cydia to download I dont remember form which source, I get "Sub-process bzip-2 returned an error code (2)" error"

#3-------NOW, when thinking ive found a fix for THAT error, and tryto download something following instructions, i get back to the SIZE MISMATCH" error, so on and so forth, so i just keep turning around and around. Is it possible that my cydia is corrupted? DO i need to reinstall it? Ive never used 'SHH" but understand now the meaning of it and what it does, should that help? Any tutorials and help?

---SO, I'm unable to update/add any sources without encountering either one of those errors, or both!----

#4------Also, i'm unable to install any apps/games through itunes because I get this ""The application was not installed on iphone because an unknown error occurred (0xE8008001)"

I've searched online and thought it was the 'not authorized" thingy so I registered to apple store, everythings authorized (itunes>store>authorize), cool, but that error message kept coming back up. For ANY apps.



and finally...

#5------ How do you transfer music into the iphone in itunes? synching doesnt do a thing when i try drag files in the music folder ( like I always used to do on my ipod classic 80gb and it just converted automatically and presto! ) Maybe just need tutorials on that.




Note about myself: Not that I'm a newb in computers, I used to have a psp and with ALOT of documentations, tutorial'ing, online research, i got to learn how to hack it perfectly, so as for the Iphone, just will take some time!
