    Default iPhone 3G[S], Unable to load carrier "Unable to load network list". Please Help.

    What i've done;
    As i recently decided to adjust some tweaks that'd change the user interface of my jailbroken iPhone 3GS, i ended up with the device not responding. By this means, i were unable to do anythign with it.
    What i did:
    I Restored the iPhone till it's original shape, (it also auto updated to 4.3.5),
    After this, Unlocked the phone using "Sn0wbreeze 2.7.3", Shift-click+Restore-button while in iTunes, Selected the IPSW version that the software had created for me, installed on the device,
    The problem;
    As i then checked out if everything worked as it should supposed to, i found out that i had no carrier, eaven though i had my carrier "card" inserted.
    And there's were i'am now,
    I've got a jailbroken, iphone, altough, unable to make phonecalls, SMS, nor browse with the 3g network..

    Is there any solution to this?
    I'd GREATLY Appreciate it!

    Phone specifications;
    iPhone 3GS, 32GB
    BB; 05.16.02-6.4_M3S2

    Pictures;

    Software + Itunes;

    Additional that might be needed(?);

    Does anyone know what the following symbol stands for?;

    Please parten me if this were posted in the incorrect forum section,
    In that case, could a MOD re-locate the thread to a more suitable section?,
    Thanks
    -KO

    Ultrasn0w won't work with that baseband

    Are you trying to use an unofficial unlock - or can you activate the phone normally via iTunes?

    If you can activate legitimately via iTunes - then you likley have chosen the wrong options in sn0wbreeze and this is causing your problem.

    Current Progress,
    What i did was,
    I Downloaded and used the latest of the RedSn0w software,
    Used the 4.3.3 IPSW and putted the iDevice in an Pwned DFU State,
    I then Shiftclicked + restore within iTunes, selected the 4.3.3 IPSW,
    Installed it,
    Then Jailbroke with Redsn0w,
    After this i were able to acess the Device, but not make phone calls.

    What i did was,
    Called my dad, and found out that the phone were locked to AT&T in the US,
    He had unlocked it, and jailbroken it, so i could use within EU, Sweden.

    As were i am now, after've had downloaded ultrasn0w from cydia, which unlocks.
    i ended up with;
    The iDevice will now search after an operator,
    But nothing more than that,
    Once i go into the carrier list, i just get re-jected and "Unable to laod network list" appears.

    That's were i am at this very moment,
    Current baseband(modem firmwire) of the device is; 05.16.02
    Unlocked and jailbroken with, Redsn0w
    Unlocked in cydia with Ultrasn0w.

    Did you read what I said? Ultrasn0w doesn't work with baseband of 05.16.02 - now you have updated to this baseband version there is NO WAY to downgrade the baseband again. In other words you have permanantly broken the unlock your father implemented.

    The primary instructions for those using unlock/jailbreak is NOT to allow iTunes to update the device unless you know 110% that it is safe and won't break your unlock.

    Your ONLY option - is the iPad baseband 6.15 - there are plenty of existing threads that explain the negatives of this option... I'd recommend you start with http://blog.iphone-dev.org/post/1718.../ultra-recycle and http://www.hackint0sh.org/f204/196391.htm and

    This was a very stupid thing to do as it destroyed the unlock your father had set up on your phone.

    Sn0wbreeze does NOT unlock. This is a common misconception.

    See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1558 for an explanation - this is documented clearly on Apple's site and as such makes me wonder how much research you bothered to do before repeatedly harassing busy people to solve your problems for you.

    Rather than post more (useless) pictures, why not read what I wrote - as I either answered your questions or gave you enough clues to find the answers yourself.

    Thread closed, duplicate issue - solutions are already well documented elsewhere on this forum.
