    Question How to do tether on iPhone 3GS [3.1.2]-[4.28.08]???

    So my question is how can I tether on a iPhone with the following spec;
    iPhone 3gs
    firmware: 3.1.2
    baseband: 4.28.08
    carrier: AT&T [ with iPhone plan]
    ps soon I will have tmobile as a carrier

    Yes, you neeed to apply a commcenter patch and upload a modified ipcc. There are threads related to both on this forum. Search around for these.

    I have an identical set-up. I like PDANet. It costs a little but you get support. You can buy it on cydia.
